Dolcylis used to treat type 2 diabetes only because of its effectiveness in lowering blood sugar levels. It is used in conjunction with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other medications, to treat the condition in which the body is unable to use insulin normally in type 2 diabetes, which leads to the inability to control blood sugar levels.
